Even and Straight

WOW!!! This is unbelievable!! (hold on to your seats)! So I went to the church today to break down the sanctuary after Wednesday’s prayer time for Mickey. Adam opened the door for Aubree and I to get in and he proceeded to show me a video on his phone of him healing his son Breckin. Apparently one of his legs was shorter than the other. On the video, I actually saw his leg move out a bit!! I proceeded to tell him I have the same problem due to my scoliosis, that one of my legs was shorter that the other (I have a 19 degree curve in my spine, they do major surgery at 22-23 degrees). I’ve had many problems due to this scoliosis, including muscles spasms, etc. At times it gets pretty painful and I have to take Vicodin, an addictive prescription drug to get any relief!!! I am in recovery from being an alcoholic, so these meds are horrible for me. When I take them I can 99% know an alcohol relapse will be coming shortly. (These meds trick my brain into thinking I’m drinking). So Adam says, "Let’s go pray for that right now." So we did, and I believe he has it on video. I did feel a sensation in my right hip and warmth in my leg!!! At the end of the prayer, he said my legs were now even!!!! Very cool, but it doesn’t stop there. I proceeded to take my jacket off and show him how bad my scoliosis was and how my shoulder dipped!! He saw it and then prayed for my spine to straighten up, several times!!!! So freaky I felt my upper body start to shift, like I began to lean to the left, except I wasn’t leaning or moving!!!! DOULBE WOW!!!! My spine straightened up at that very moment!!!! I was trippin’ out, wondering what to do with all of this! He told me to just go and praise and thank GOD, so I did. I got to share this with a few people who were hanging around the church. I kept looking in the mirror checking to make sure I was still staying straight. Adam came and checked on me and looked at my shoulders. "YEP", he said, “They’re straight”!!! We were both excited about the miracle God just did.So I’m crying, happy and freaking out all at once. I kept asking Danielle if I was still straight!!! I don’t even know what to say, I’m still in a daze. Can’t wait to get my back x-rayed again!!! GOD is so awesome and is so "for me"! Completely amazing, a miracle right in front of me and he used me. God is good guys, and he wants to do this for all of us. Open up to him, get close to him and keep the faith, in fact ask for an increase in faith!! Thanks for listening and GOD bless!!!

Give Me Proof

I have been seeing God move in a lot of great ways lately, but this morning I was telling Him that I needed to see more to know that this isn’t all in my head. It amazes me that I would think this with as much as I’ve experienced with Him in the past and what I’ve seen and experienced with Him lately, but there I was. When I went into work today I was startled to see someone who I thought was out for the week because of surgery. This person and I have had a lot of head-butting sessions in the past and we both felt like the other person was always attacking and looking for fault. I had tried to make peace with her but in the end we would still end up at odds with each other. One day, a couple of months ago I noticed she was in a lot of pain due to a knee problem. She said she had seen her doctor and that they had done an MRI and had determined that she definitely needed surgery. I told her I went to this crazy church where they believe that we actually become like Jesus and can do the things He did. I asked her if I could pray for her knee. She looked surprised and said "Sure!". I asked if I could lay hands on her knee, I commanded the pain to be gone in Jesus’ name and prayed for the restoration of her knee. She looked surprised and said that it was better but maybe not 100%. I said I believed it would continue to get better and we left it at that. I ran into her a few times over the next couple of months and she said that she would still need the surgery and this week she was out for the surgery. When she showed up for work during the time she was supposed to be out recovering I said I was surprised that she healed from the surgery so quickly. She told me after we were out of the meeting that she didn’t have the surgery. She said when she went in and they were taking her vital signs that things were out of whack and they couldn’t proceed. When the doctor came to her to talk about the surgery all of her signs had returned to normal. He asked what was going on with her knee and she said it was almost completely back to normal with only a small amount of things she couldn’t do with it. He called off the surgery. She said she believes that God healed her. We were both very excited about it! I guess it doesn’t hurt to ask God for a little proof every now and then!

Jesus in Jail

I am so in love with GOD and it’s so amazing the things He is doing in my life. The favor He shows me, along with how much He loves me has been most amazing to me lately. I see and feel this more and more most recently in my life. I had the most ugly but amazing thing happen to me recently. I’ve been battling constant relapsing with my addiction lately and I just experienced a blessing in disguise this last week in my life. I actually had to go to jail for 6 days because my P.O. wanted to wake me up, and get me detoxed. While in jail for 6 days, the glory I experienced was just amazing.!!! I cannot believe all the FAVOR the Lord shows me. All the correctional officers that I was around spoke to me about GOD, and encouraged me not to give up. The nurse kept telling me in front of four Captains, “Pray Denise, Keep praying!!” I had many of them share with me the addictions they have beaten, and they were extra loving and caring with me. THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN IN JAIL!! All of these supportive and loving Captains and correctional officers were around me, and a lot of them giving me their testimonies and telling me things about GOD!!!! WOW!!!! I felt the Lord’s presence around me constantly. I spent most of my time alone and praying most of the day. Spoke in tongues most of the day, and got stronger each day and better. I also got to talk to a few young girls about GOD. I have been earnestly seeking the Lord for a while now and building my OWN relationship with JESUS. Just Jesus and me and I love it. It helped me in this situation and only blessings have come from it. At this moment in my life I could of crumbled. I didn’t need to fall on a friend or run to someone for help. I ran to JESUS, my Lord and friend, and He protected me and I rose above this situation. The next best part of this testimony is that satan thinks he’s winning when he’s only driving me closer to Jesus. That’s the first time I’ve been able to say that in years and have it be real and sooo true. My probation officer said she’s not violating me, and her supervisor spoke to me and they said they want to help me. I’m getting more counseling and possibly free doctor visits to get off the medication that keeps triggering my relapses due to my severe scoliosis (and getting me better non-addictive meds)!!! Yes more help and more people who believe in me!!!I don’t deserve the favor God has given me, but I’m so glad he has. He loves me and He is fighting for me. That means I must be pretty special to Him and His kingdom. I am important and He wants me around for something special. After that horrible, but necessary (short) jail stay I feel so amazing, so much more motivated and on fire for God. I want to help these people I met in jail. THEY NEED JESUS SOOO BAD!!! Any way, thanks for letting me share. There were sooo many more amazing things that happened while I was in there, but too much to type. I love you Jesus, and I now am seeing and feeling how much You love me.!! God bless.

Star of David

I met with a friend for a drink at Starbucks. He started coughing and apologized. He asked me if it was okay to sit outside because he was told that he might have acid reflux and sitting in the sun would help his cough. I told him that would be fine. We continued talking but his coughing increased, at which point I knew I had to pray for him. I asked him if he was comfortable with me praying for his cough and he did not have a problem with that. I asked him if I could put my hand on his chest and he said, "Is this how you do it?", and I said " If you are comfortable with that." He was, so I proceeded. I thanked God for him and the relationship we were building. I prayed that God would remove whatever was going on with his chest in Jesus Christ name. He thanked me for praying and showed me his necklace that had a pendant of the Star of David. We continued to talk about his Jewish belief. Shortly after that conversation he sat up straight and breathed deeply and his coughing stopped.

Seeing to Believing

I recently returned home from Guatemala, where God did amazing things!!! We saw the lame walk, a mute man speak praises to Jesus, and an "immobile," damaged arm move. We saw a man who once couldn’t hear out of one ear, receive the Gospel in that same ear. We saw the sick recover: sore throats, stomach aches, and headaches leave in Jesus’ Name. We saw the oppressed set free, and the once-alcoholic, now born again and filled with the Holy Spirit, lead another man to Jesus. We saw people born again into the kingdom of God, and reconciliation where there was once no home. We saw those who were once unsure of their salvation, become sure, and the power of the Holy Spirit move. We saw people filled with the Holy Ghost immediately speak in tongues, and the lost, hurt, and abandoned orphan receive the love, joy and peace of the Lord. Praise God! Queen Sheba said to king Solomon that she did not believe the report she had heard of him in her own land, until she saw it for herself, and that when she did see it, it was even more than what she had heard (1 Kings 10). The same was true for me–it took seeing God use me, to believe that He wanted to, and when He did, it was beyond any expectation I could have had! He is SO good, and He wants to use YOU to show it! He’s not waiting until you go on a mission trip to use you, either. He loves those of us in the States as much as anyone else. You already have a mission field. He’s calling you to advance His kingdom. If you don’t, who will? I am no different than anyone else… You can believe that He will use YOU. He promises that His Word NEVER returns void–NEVER!!! There’s always a harvest of some sort. Take Him at His Word that "these signs shall follow those that believe…" because they will. His Word is Truth, and the world (even our neighbors) need to hear it. What if you could be the one God uses to change their eternal destiny? You’ll never know, if you never try. Step out in faith, and let Him use you to shine His light before men, that they may see your good deeds, and glorify your Father in heaven. Amen!

In An Elevator

Wanted to share this testimony from a couple of days ago in a hotel:

As I was getting ready to come up the elevator, I came across these two ladies and they were trying to get ice from the front desk. I asked if they were ok and the one lady had burned her hand on the waffle iron at the breakfast. I got to talking to them for a couple minutes and she was saying she’d be alright and this would pass and then said something about Passover (making a joke). I didn’t catch it at first and they then said they were Jewish (I assume not Messianic-Jews believing in Jesus but wasn’t 100% sure of that. I figured they weren’t Christian-Jewish). I held the elevator for them and going up I had a boldness come and I told the ladies: "I am a Christian and have seen Jesus do some cool things and would you mind if I pray for you/for your hand." She paused a moment and said, “no that’s fine, prayer is always good.” So I prayed and thanked God for her and I said "thanks Jesus for paying a price for this burn. Skin be healed in Jesus’ name." It was cool. I actually missed my stop on the elevator because I was praying, so I had to go back down. No big deal. Anyway, they said that was really nice and thanked me. I didn’t really ask her if she felt better but am believing she was healed. I was hoping to see her the next morning and wanted to ask how her skin/hand was but didn’t see her, but am believing she is well now and knows that Jesus healed her.

Encouraging Visions

Lately during worship, I have been seeing crazy visions. God is often showing me certain people with crowns set on their heads with certain gemstones which symbolize different things. He has also been showing me the aurora borealis lights entangled with gold dust and them representing His glory. Also during worship I have been in Heaven with the Father in a deep place where amazing things are going on, I can’t even explain what all I have seen but it is just so GOOD! This is a new and refreshing level to me, as he shows me encouraging visions for people around me.
